About MK Fitness

For years, people from across the country have asked how they can train with MK Fitness without living in Nashville — and now, you can. If you’ve been feeling stuck, bouncing between random workouts online, and not seeing real results, this is your solution.

MIKE KRAJEWSKI // OWNER

  • As a Canadian with a deep passion for sports and fitness, my journey began on the football field of St. Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Initially set on a path to law school, my experiences playing university football ignited a new passion: strength and conditioning. This pivotal moment inspired me to shift my goals and dedicate myself to the fitness industry.

Through hard work and extensive study, I earned my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) accreditation from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. My career began in Canada, training clients and honing my skills. However, an opportunity to move to Nashville, Tennessee, to train my cousin, a player for the Nashville Predators NHL team, marked a significant turning point. This venture opened doors to international coaching, leading me to Copenhagen, Denmark, where I trained the professional hockey team, the Herlev Eagles.

After years of dedication and growth in the industry, I built my first gym in Nashville. Despite the challenges, including the 2020 Nashville tornado that devastated my initial location, I persevered. I rebuilt my gym in a new location, making it a cornerstone of my mission to spread fitness and positivity.

Born and raised in Canada with a passion for sports, my fitness journey began on the football field at St. Mary’s University. While I initially planned for law school, playing university football sparked a new drive — strength and conditioning. That shift led me to earn my CSCS accreditation and begin training clients in Canada.

A move to Nashville to train my cousin, a player for the Nashville Predators, opened the door to international coaching, including a stint with Denmark’s Herlev Eagles pro hockey team. I eventually returned to Nashville to open my first gym — and even after the 2020 tornado destroyed it, I rebuilt and came back stronger.

In July 2023, I expanded into a larger facility, driven by one goal: to spread good vibes, build strength, and help others become the best version of themselves through fitness.

CAMERON DARCY // TRAINER

  • Cameron Darcy – Strength & Conditioning Coach | Former Professional Hockey Player

Born and raised in South Boston, MA, I’ve been immersed in the world of strength and conditioning for most of my life. My athletic journey began early, playing a wide range of sports with a primary focus on hockey. This passion led me to start resistance training at a young age, which intensified during high school when I was selected to represent the U.S. National Team at the U17 and U18 levels.

During my time with the U.S. National Team Development Program, I was introduced to high-level Olympic-style lifting, including movements such as hang cleans, snatches, front squats, and bench press. This early exposure laid a strong foundation in proper technique and training methodology.

After the program I went on to play collegiate and then Major Junior hockey. From here I was drafted and signed an NHL Entry-Level Contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning. Over the next nine years, I played professional hockey within five NHL organizations, gaining invaluable experience and insight into elite-level performance.

Throughout my 15-year career, I had the privilege of working alongside and learning from world-class strength and conditioning coaches from the NHL, NFL, and Olympic level. These experiences shaped my understanding of effective, evidence-based training protocols for athletes and individuals of all levels.

Now retired from professional hockey, I’m passionate about using the knowledge and expertise I've gained to help others reach their fitness goals. Whether you're an athlete looking to elevate your performance or someone simply aiming to improve your overall health, my mission is to provide you with the tools, structure, and motivation to succeed.
